Romans 14 confronts the pride, opinions, and petty divisions that can poison the church.  Paul reminds us that living sacrifices don’t weaponize preferences, flaunt freedoms, or sit in judgment over other believers. 

In view of God’s mercy, we are called to lay down our “rights” for the spiritual good of others.  Mature faith isn’t about winning arguments, it’s about building people up.

Cultures change.  Trends change.  Generations change.  But sin never changes names just because society gets comfortable with it.

Romans 14 calls us to stop confusing personal convictions and preferences with biblical truth while also refusing to play judge over every disputable issue.
