Message Title

forgiveness lives here

Series: Home – Doing Life Together

About this message

Jeff Boyer – May 24, 2026

Home is more than a place—it’s a commitment.  In a world where schedules are full and relationships are stretched thin, God calls us to build homes marked by intentional faith, deep connection, and spiritual leadership.

This four-week series challenges us to establish Christ as the center of our homes, to lead with conviction, and to shape the next generation through prayer, blessing, and example. Because what happens in our homes shapes what happens in the world.

Every home will experience hurt but what sets a Christ-centered home apart is how it handles it. When Peter asks Jesus how many times we should forgive, Jesus shatters the limits and tells a story that exposes just how much we’ve been forgiven. Ephesians 4 brings it home: bitterness, rage, and resentment don’t belong under this roof, rather kindness, compassion, and forgiveness do.

Forgiveness isn’t pretending it didn’t happen, and it’s not easy! In today’s message, Pastor Jeff unpacks what forgiveness really is, what it isn’t, and how to actually live it out in the everyday moments of family life. If we’ve been forgiven much, then forgiveness should live here.
