Isla Q. Stichter – daughter of Jami & Ross Stichter
Baptized by: Pastor Jeff
I asked Jesus in my heart because I love Him and He loves me. Without Him I am sinful. But Jesus died for our sins. Now the Holy Spirit has changed my heart so I can live with Him forever.
Sam Flores Jr. – son of Rita Hernandez & Salome Flores
Baptized by: Pastor Jeff
I am Sam Flores. I am 11 years old. I would like to thank my parents, grandpa and Ari for leading me in the right path with God. I want to be baptized because I gave my heart to Jesus. I believe this is the right step because I want to be obedient and follow Jesus example. I plan on reading my bible more, showing the fruit of the spirit and praying more often. Thank you Jesus for your gift.
Luke Hurst – son of Sarah & Jeremy Hurst
Baptized by: Pastor Jeff
My parents and Emilee and Brian Hermon have taught me to learn more about Jesus. I asked Jesus into my heart in June of 2023 after church camp. I want to get baptized because Jesus said I should be baptized and I want to show people I want to follow Jesus. I think being baptized will bring me in a closer relationship with Jesus.
Elianna Lynn Bradley – daughter of Jesica & Peter Bradley Baptized by: Emilee Hermon
From the time I was little, I was taught a lot about God from my parents, Miss Angie and Miss Emilee. In the past few years I understand a lot more about God and how much He loves me. He’s helped me through a lot of hard times. I want to be baptized because I want to follow Jesus and be a leader for God. When I’m baptized I want to tell more people about God and Jesus and show them all of the amazing things He can do.
Zoe Jane Adair – daughter of Charlotte Price & Robert Adair
Baptized by: Emilee Hermon
My Name is Zoe Adair. I am 10 years old. When I first learned about Jesus I had just moved in with my Nana and Papa. They taught me that it is good to go to church and when I went for the first time it was fun. I learned a year later that church is not just for fun. Church is about learning about our Savior. I came here to get baptized because I believe in my father, Jesus.
Jack Leach – son of Kate & Joe Leach
Baptized by: Emilee Hermon
My mom, dad, grandparents and my Kidz Cove teachers have helped me learn about God and grow in my faith. I want to be baptized. I want to grow my relationship with God. I know this is the next step in following Him. I want to remember that I belong to Jesus and I will try to live my life the way He wants me to. I want to love others, make good choices and keep learning about Him.
Hunter Adams – son of Christy & Ronald Adams
Baptized by: Emilee Hermon
I first learned about Jesus through church, and I want to follow Him because of all the amazing stories in the Bible. To me, Jesus is the Son of God. I know that He died on the cross for all of our sins, and that makes me feel super great because it shows how much He loves me. One time at church camp, I prayed when I was scared from being away from home, and I felt like Jesus was with me. I love going to church, doing the activities, and learning more about Him. Jesus makes my heart better, which helps me be better too. I want to be baptized to show everyone that I am close to Jesus. I hope that Jesus is always with me, especially when I feel scared, and I want to keep following Him all my life.
Christy Adams
Baptized by: Pastor Jeff
I grew up with a good life in many ways, but like everyone, I faced my own struggles. Over the years I looked for love, worth, redemption and fulfillment in the wrong places and I made choices I wish I hadn’t. Those choices left me with guilt, shame and a sense that something was missing inside.
Even when I was far from Him, God never stopped reaching for me. Little by little, He showed me that my worth isn’t found in the opinions of others or in anything this world can offer. It’s found in Him alone. I’ve learned that His love covers my past. His grace meets me in the present. His promises give me hope for the future.
I am choosing to be baptized to show that I’m leaving my old life behind and trusting God completely with my life. I’ve let go of the weight of the past. I’ve forgiven myself and others. I know without a doubt that I am a daughter of God, loved, forgiven and made new in Christ.
Casey Wicks – son of Adrienne & T.J. Wicks
Baptized by: Emilee Hermon
Why I want to get baptized is because I believe in Jesus. He is our savior and is the true King.
Thomas Wicks – son of Adrienne & T.J. Wicks
Baptized by: Pastor Jeff
I learned to believe in Jesus from my family and my church and want to live my life believing in Jesus!
Baylee Wicks – daughter of Adrienne & T.J. Wicks
Baptized by: Pastor Trevor
I want to be baptized because I had a falling out as a Christian and I’ve gotten closer to God again. I was baptized at a younger age but I didn’t fully know God yet. Pastor Trevor and Jami Stichter helped me understand God and Jesus more. They helped me make my decision about my relationship with Jesus. I have lost a friend but that’s okay. I have been happier and kinder.
Finley Pickler – son of Sara & Jason Pickler
Baptized by: Pastor Jeff
God has always placed people in my life to model what it is to be a follower of Jesus. My mom and dad always pray with us. They are good servants in the community and always include my sister and I. We start our day with devotions and learn about Jesus and how He lived. God has also brought people into my life to model His love like my baseball coach, Coach Stan. I want to be baptized so people know I have made the decision to have the Holy Spirit in my heart and try to live like Jesus did. I want Jesus to be my role model.
Ruby Grim – daughter of Jennifer & Derek Grim
Baptized by: Pastor Jeff
I started going to church when I was 3 years old and now I am 11. I have met so many amazing Leaders and new friends and they make me want to be a better person. I have learned so much and I love to share the Word of God with other people. I think it is amazing that someone that I have never met loves me so much, that He died on the cross for me. That is why I have chosen to be saved by Christ my Lord. I will try hard to be more like Him.
Nevaeh Martinez-Hernandez – daughter of Sarah Hernandez & Ezequiel Caloca
Baptized by: Pastor Tom
My name is Nevaeh. I am 10 years old. I first heard about Jesus when I was little. My cousin Ariana read a book to me about Jesus. I believe Jesus is God’s son and He died on the cross because He loves me and washed my sins away. I prayed and asked Him to be my Savior. I try to pray every day and be kind to others and be a better person. I want to be baptized because I want to follow His right path. It means the old life is gone and a new life is in Him. I love Jesus and I will follow
Him forever.
Dewey Lindsey – son of Libby & Aaron Lindsey
Baptized by Pastor Tom
I want to be baptized because I have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. There are many people (Pastor Tom, Pastor Jeff, and Pastor Trevor) who helped me understand who Jesus is. The most help came from Jesus. My relationship with Jesus has changed my life in more ways than one. Through Him I have become more like Jesus throughout my everyday life and spiritual journey. Through my highest highs and lowest lows I know He is with me. Jesus has tested my faith in many ways to make my faith much stronger. Jesus is my protector and my King. No matter what happens He is always present. Jesus has played a huge role in the person I am today and it is my duty to spread His glory.
“Whoever claims to live in Him must live as Jesus did.” 1 John 2:6
Carter Wolfe – son of April & Rodney Wolfe
Baptized by: Pastor Rafael
About a year ago I felt stuck with church, worship and just life in general. But once I decided to be a leader for Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at my school it all changed. I felt closer and wanted to learn more and read more. I wanted to worship and praise him more and follow Him a little closer every day. I want to be baptized to immerse myself fully into Him and live like Him. Over the past year I have read my bible every day, worshipped every Sunday, Monday and Wednesday and fell in love with playing music for Him. The biggest thing that helps me understand who Jesus is, is standing in front of 30 people at FCA, scrambling all my notes on the first day to the last lesson and having all my notes spoken from my heart. I want to be baptized and follow Jesus more and more every day. Follow in His footsteps just as planned for me.
Kendall Scheeren – daughter of Shanda & Chris Scheeren
Baptized by Pastor Trevor
To be honest, I really struggled with what to write for my testimony. I have gone to church my whole life with my Christian family. I finally realized that even though I have gone to church my whole life, it has been different throughout the years. When I was 3 years old I only went because my parents went. In elementary school I wanted to see my friends, play tag in the Treehouse and play “sharks and minnows” while we waited for our parents. But as I have grown through the years, so has my relationship with Christ. I now go to church to strengthen my relationship with God and grow closer to Him. The people around me, such as my parents, Pastor Trevor and my small group leaders and many others have helped me know Jesus better. My relationship with Jesus has changed my life by shifting my perspective and outlook on life. I want to be baptized to show this change, as well as so others can hold me accountable.
Jacob Hollopeter – son of Kim Darr & Ryan Hollopeter
Baptized by: Pastor Trevor
I chose to get baptized because I want to show that I’ve been saved and accepted Jesus into my life and I’ve had so much help on this journey that no human can do alone. God gave me a guitar and I never thought I would be on stage at my church. I’ve had so much help from Pastor Trevor and friends but most importantly from Jesus. Jesus pulled me out of the pit I was in and washed me of sin and I thank God for that. I thank God for our worship band. They have helped me learn and live with Jesus in my life. I’ve been able to live a Christian life through worship and praise.
Micah Moe – son of Abby & Brandon Moe
Baptized by: Pastor Trevor
I want to be baptized to show my acceptance of Jesus into my heart and life. My parents played a major role in me understanding who Jesus was and is. Jesus has changed my life in more ways than I can count. I wouldn’t be writing this if it weren’t for Him. He helped me out of a very dark place and guided me to this church. To a community I didn’t even know I needed until I came to a service. Since then I have gone to church every Sunday and have embraced the Word of God and teachings of Christ. I have accepted Christ into my life and heart and want to show my commitment to God and Christ and start a new chapter in my life with my church.
Molly Moe – daughter of Abby & Brandon Moe
Baptized by: Pastor Trevor
I want to be baptized because I have been in situations that I shouldn’t have been in and I have made really bad decisions. One day I just broke down and had an overwhelming sense that I needed to pray. I prayed for a long time. I started going to Epic with some friends and my life felt so much better. I remember we were singing in worship and I felt like Jesus was with me and I started crying happy tears. Ever since I started to go with my family to church, Jesus has changed my whole family dynamic and my life. Pastor Trevor and Jami Stichter have been a huge part of my relationship with Jesus. They have made me a true believer and every time I go to church and hear them talk about Jesus it makes my bond with God even stronger. The stronger I am bound to Him the more I long to learn, thrive and grow with Him. I thank God for the opportunity to be baptized in His name.
Courtney Drabenstott – daughter of Ryanne & Dan Drabenstott
Baptized by: Pastor Trevor
A while ago I was in a dark place and felt there was no way out. Like there was no way I could be forgiven. Jesus helped me see that no matter what, He will forgive us. Jesus has changed my life and brought me out of the dark place I was in. I am so grateful I have accepted Him in my life. He’s made my life so much brighter. I want to be baptized so others can see I’ve accepted Jesus and see that He has saved me. I’m thankful for Jesus and His life changing ways. I’m thankful for Pastor Trevor for showing me who Jesus is and how He forgives everyone who asks. I’m thankful for my friends for showing me how to live my life through Jesus. I’m thankful for my family for letting me follow my heart.
Genevieve Zachary – daughter of Amanda Nesbitt & Tom Zachary
Baptized by: Pastor Trevor
I want to be baptized because I want to show people that I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. The Epic church leaders really helped me understand who Jesus is. My relationship with Jesus has changed my life drastically. Whenever I’m going through a hard time, I know that it is God’s plan, and that I need to trust it. When my parents got divorced, it was hard for me. I then realized going to church and building a relationship with Jesus is the best thing I can do. So when times get tough, instead of being sad, I bring it to Jesus. I realized that knowing Jesus made my life better and made me way happier. I now know I want to spend eternal life with Jesus.
Lora Gonzalez – daughter of Heaven & Daniel Gonzales
Baptized by: Pastor Trevor
I didn’t grow up in a family that goes to church every Sunday. I would only go every once in a while when my grandparents would invite me. When I was in seventh grade I started going to youth group but even then I didn’t really take my relationship with Jesus seriously. My whole freshman year and half of my sophomore year I was going to church, youth group and bible study, but I was still surrounding myself with worldly things and with people who were only pulling me away from Jesus.
It felt like I was so far from Him that I hit rock bottom. I would find myself praying that God would help me to find people who would help me grow my faith and wouldn’t pull me away from Him. Thankfully he answered that prayer and put two of the sweetest girls with the kindest and purest hearts I’ve ever met into my life. One through volleyball and one through just having two classes with each other. The Lord has truly saved me and has gotten me through so many hard times in my life. He has made me realize that I wouldn’t be here without Him and He’s not done with me yet. I’ve learned that the best thing to do is just give everything to God and He will always pick me back up.
Sarah Cheng – daughter of Chanpen Hanchan & Steve Cheng
Baptized by: Pastor Trevor
Growing up I went to church every Sunday. However, I was just going to church. I didn’t have a great faith or relationship with the Lord. Sometimes during Sunday School I would go on my ipod and play games because I was bored. I didn’t know who God was and as I got older I slowly stopped going to church. About 3 years ago I started going to Epic. At first I was going for my friends but over time I started going for my own relationship with God. Just over a year ago I started to go back to church on Sundays. Now I can confidently say that the Lord has changed my life. This change didn’t happen just because I went to church but because I was eager to know God. I have been beyond blessed with the people that have helped me grow closer to Him. I am so grateful for my brothers and sisters in Christ who have pushed me to be who I am today. God has transformed me for the better and I have built a true relationship with Christ. It’s crazy to see what God can do in such a short time. Growing closer to Jesus has truly shown me God’s power and love. All praise to our Lord and Savior!
Levi Baskerville – son of Chelsea & Mark Baskerville
Baptized by: Pastor Trevor
My name is Levi Baskerville, I am thankful I have this opportunity to share what God has done in my life. I have chosen to be baptized as a public way to show my faith and trust in Jesus. Also as a decision to follow him for the rest of my life. Along my path as a Christian I have encountered many challenges and temptations, and it hasn’t been easy. I’ve fallen into sin and hard times. But as I fall into sin I still find my way back to Him.
I would like to thank my parents & grandparents. I would also like to thank my youth pastor, Trevor. My relationship with Jesus has been a rollercoaster, there have been ups, and downs, but at the end of the day nothing can break my relationship with Jesus.
Elijah Robles – son of Karlie Robles & Casey Spickelmier
Baptized by: Pastor Trevor
The reason why I want to be baptized is because I used to be distant with God. Jesus changed my life so much in the past three years of coming to North Webster Community Church. I want to thank Pastor Trevor and Randy Woodcock for helping me be closer to God and helping me end my bad habits. I am doing so much better at life now that I am living closer to God.
Rayne Reimer – daughter of Sarah & Dewey Reimer
Baptized by Pastor Trevor
I want to be baptized because I’ve given myself to Jesus. The Person who helped me understand Jesus is Jami Stichter. When we went on a church trip she really helped me understand my relationship with Jesus and how He has recently changed my life. When I was younger, I wasn’t a good kid, But Now Jesus Has really changed me, and I want to live for him.
Adalynn Reimer – daughter of Sarah & Dewey Reimer
Baptized by Pastor Trevor
I want to be baptized because I have given my life to God and am starting out fresh. My mom helped me understand who God is. My relationship with God has changed my life because no matter what or how I feel, I feel like I can go to God and pray and feel like He has my back no matter what.
Kloee Sinn
Baptized by: Pastor Trevor
My name is Kloee and I’m here today to show my faithfulness to Jesus Christ Himself. I’ve spent too much of my life seeking for love and pure happiness. I have always felt an anxious, lonely, empty hole that I would try to fill with useless things or cover that feeling with denial. I was so tired of feeling like this, but I soon found myself seeking His truth of life.
My eyes were opened to the truth of Gods instruction book for life, a Bible my parents gave me. The best thing I have ever done is put my hope and trust in Jesus Christ as my Savior this past year. I never knew He was the missing puzzle piece in my life. In this past year I haven’t looked back and I will never be sorry for turning to Jesus. I am incredibly blessed to realize that Jesus loves me and that he died for me and my selfish sins. I am so grateful I accepted His gift when I did. I have no idea where I would be today if I hadn’t turned to God when I needed him most.
I can look back know and see how God was chasing after me as I was running away from Him my whole life, and yet He picked me up every time I fell, patiently waiting for me to turn my life over to him.
God has blessed me in so many ways, and today I want to show my thankfulness and be baptized as a believer in Christ.
Hannah Truex
Baptized by: Pastor Jeff
As a kid I didn’t grow up in church, so I was confused about who this Jesus really was and what people said He had done for them. My family would occasionally take me to church events but it was never a continuous thing. I was trying to build my worth and identity off of what others thought of me because my mind was filled with worldly thoughts and ideas from years of trying to strive for other people’s approval. I felt very insecure and depressed but that was because I hadn’t experienced His unconditional love yet. Until one of my childhood friends showed me who Jesus is by simply inviting me to bible study and from there driving me to every event she could. My relationship with Jesus has truly transformed my life, filling it with peace, joy and so much more. He has calmed my anxieties and doubts. He has placed a supportive community of Christ followers into my life which I thought I would never have. Today I am publicly committing to follow Christ’s path. Sharing His Good News and to share His love with others.

For years, I was the kind of atheist who didn’t just disbelieve—I evangelized it. I was a big fan of science, logic, and my own outrage. Co-workers knew this, but never once did they meet me with mirroring hostility; they met me with love and acceptance. The type of love that tells of hard truths and bitter realities. They told me I’d come to God one day. I thought they were ridiculous; they weren’t. But, the very moment my first born came into the world, their words came to fruition—looking at my baby, I knew I had been so, so wrong. The black hole in my heart that once poured out hatred and disdain was replaced and filled with the love of God. I had denounced God for years, but no more. The insurmountable feeling of peace and joy in my heart is indescribable. I no longer constantly walk around angry and looking for a fight. I now see the good in people and no longer make snap judgements at first glance. “I was one way, now I’m completely different.” Jesus is King!
Gavin Hunziker
Baptized by: Pastor Jeff
For as long as I can remember, I’ve believed in Jesus and known that faith matters. But for most of my life, I only let Him in partway. My relationship with God was more about checking boxes—saying my prayers, doing the ‘right’ things—than truly walking with Him. It felt more like a routine than a relationship, and that mindset shaped the way I lived.
But God’s been working on my heart. I’m getting married this fall to the most amazing woman. She has shown me, day by day, what it looks like to live a life fully surrendered to Christ. Through her example, I’ve seen the heart of Jesus—His love, His patience, and His grace. She has inspired me to take my faith seriously, and I’m standing here today because of that.
I’m done with putting God in the background and being okay with a lukewarm faith. Today is a declaration that I have fully surrendered my life to Jesus. He is no longer just part of my life—He is my life. And that’s what we’re celebrating today.

Baptized by: Pastor Jeff
I was baptized in junior high because it was the natural order of things to do in the church where I was raised. At that time I was not strong in my faith in God and had never read the Bible, even though I was raised going to church every week.
In my young adult years, I would occasionally attend church and after I had children, I would do the things that I was raised to do like baby dedication and having our oldest son go through baptism classes and get baptized during his junior high years. But there came a time in my life where I felt something was missing. Around this time I had a very good friend invite me to her church where I then joined a small bible study group and met some incredible people where my walk with Christ started to grow.
My mom has been such a huge role model in my life and my walk with Christ. I watch her faithfully attend church and be part of the church in leadership roles and by the way she treats others with a kind heart and a helping hand. I have also watched her go through two breast cancer scares and get through them both with grace and a very strong faith! Watching this role model, my mom, has continued to help me grow in my faith. I am so blessed that she is here today to witness my baptism.
I’ve been through some difficult times in my life, which is when I leaned on God the most. Through these difficult times, I have learned the importance of forgiveness and to do it quickly. I have also learned I have an incredible support system of family and friends.
I have some very close friends who are here with me today to witness my baptism who have helped me to stay in faith when I had hard times come and would remind me every day by sending me Bible scriptures and daily devotional readings. Because of my growth in my faith and my life experiences, I am also able to help my friends and family when they go through hard times to stay in faith and not give up hope.
More growth came after I moved to this area in 2019 and I did not know many people. A college roommate invited me to North Webster Community Church which has blessed my life in so many ways. I have met some incredible people through this church family and have started building some more amazing friendships.
I feel so blessed that my youngest son, Alex, is getting baptized with me today. His faith has grown so much at such a young age and I know it has saved his life.
I decided to get baptized because I have a much stronger faith in God through my life experiences, reading the Bible and daily devotions. I want to publicly proclaim that I am committed to following Jesus Christ for the rest of my life.

God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Nothing could have prepared me for the life I have lived at such a young age. My testimony is unique. Just how God made me and you. My story consists of resilience, perseverance, and just showing up. My father taught me the saying “Just show up”. What I didn’t know or understand at the time is he was speaking a prophetic word to me. Growing up, I remember my mother taking me and my brother to church. But I don’t remember anything from those services. My faith got tested when I became a young man. COVID was when it started. I never drank alcohol a lot before then. And after getting laid off my job, all there was left to do was party, and drink alcohol. I never went to college. So the COVID times were my college times. I became addicted. Fast. It made me feel how I always wanted to feel. It made me feel like I was confident. Which I never was. I fell in love with the drunk version of me. So I stayed that way. After that, I have been to three rehab treatment centers. I prayed to God many times, no answer. I knew he was always in the room that I shared with other addicts and alcoholics like myself. But it was because I wasn’t ready. And finally at the third rehab facility I went to, I was ready. I gave it all to him. Everything. And he answered. He answered not only my prayer, but the thousands and thousands of prayers my mother, father and family prayed. The devil is a liar. And he lied to me so many times in my life. But God, my lord and Savior Jesus Christ saved me. Now I am free from those shackles the devil had me in.

I am getting baptized to make a public declaration of my belief in God and that Jesus Christ is my savior.

Baptized by: Pastor Jeff
Today, I am proclaiming Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. It took me many years to reach this point. Although I grew up in a Christian household, I, like many others, went the way of the world in my younger years, thinking that was what I wanted. After many years of trying to figure out life on my own, I realized, after attending church again, that I couldn’t do it alone and that I needed a Savior. I became tired of trying to figure everything out on my own, and that’s when I finally decided to focus on my personal relationship with God and give my life to Him. I’m reminded of the Parable of the Lost Sheep, and I truly believe that Jesus has left the 99 (multiple times) to save me.Romans 6:4 says, “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Just as Christ died and was resurrected, I want to be baptized today to die to my old life of sin and embrace a new life in Jesus, showing what He has done in my life.

I want to be baptized for many reasons but mostly because of the pain I’ve carried around with me from my childhood and now through adulthood. I’ve carried the heart of a little girl longing for her mother’s love and acceptance.
For years I’ve searched for belonging and a purpose and I started praying and talking to our friends and our son on finding a church and getting closer to God. The last few years have brought a lot of challenges to my life such as losing family members and my children and grandchildren moving to another state. That is when I decided to try NWCC and on the 4th week Pastor Jeff had a sermon that moved me so much I felt God’s healing in that moment restoring my broken heart. I know I am accepted and deeply loved. I’m looking forward to what God has planned for my future.

After losing my parents 10 years ago, I felt overwhelmed by grief and confusion. The pain created a distance in my family and for 9 years I didn’t speak to my brothers. In January 2025, I made the decision to start going to church. One Sunday during a sermon by Pastor Jeff, something he said really hit home and stayed with me. That message gave me the courage to reach out to my brothers. From that moment, we began to mend and rebuild our relationships. I’m deeply grateful for the healing and it’s because of the new hope and letting God into my life and that’s why I have chosen to be baptized.
